And the most important reason to seek Dynamic Physiotherapy and Chiropractic’s services….
To improve your general health, well-being and overall quality of life!
Our physiotherapists are focused on diagnosing, treating and ultimately preventing injuries anywhere in the body that are causing you pain or dysfunction. We work directly with you to get you back to work, play and life through an individualized treatment plan, and we’re with you every step of the way.
Dynamic’s physiotherapists can provide a range of treatment options to support your recovery, including muscle work, joint mobility, manipulation techniques, exercise-based treatments and modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation and acupuncture. Every therapy technique is carefully selected to build the most appropriate treatment plan for your unique situation.
We also focus on education as part of any treatment plan. This can include education about posture, body mechanics, ergonomics, work habits, specific exercises and how to prevent injuries as you return to work, play and life. Our goal is to build a treatment plan with you that helps you become independent of us, and avoid re-injury!
Dynamic Ottawa’s chiropractors work to diagnose, treat and ultimately prevent injuries anywhere in the body that may cause you pain or dysfunction. They use hands-on treatment options to address imbalances, pain and injuries anywhere in the body, and our treatment plans are built for your specific situation, to get you back to work, play and life quickly and safely.
Our chiropractors offer a range of treatment options to support your recovery, including a hands- on treatment plan, therapeutic exercise programs and other non-invasive options. They’re also qualified to provide supplemental, dietary and lifestyle advice that can make all the difference as part of an overall recovery plan. These techniques can be used as the primary aspect of your treatment, or they can be used in conjunction with several other health services, like physiotherapy, massage or acupuncture, to complement your recovery.
Our chiropractors work directly with you to educate you about your specific injury and how you can help avoid similar pain or dysfunction in the future. At the end of the day, the goal is to get you back to your life pain-free, and avoid re-injury.
- Registered Massage Therapy
Registered massage therapy is a perfect addition to many treatment plans for a variety of injuries. Since Dynamic Ottawa is a multidisciplinary clinic, our physiotherapists and chiropractors can work directly with our RMT to make sure every aspect of your treatment plan is getting you closer to your goals. RMT has helped patients recover from a wide range of complaints, and can be instrumental in preventing re-injury.
Registered massage therapy can also be a wonderful preventative and maintenance therapy option as well. As a standalone service, it is especially helpful for stress and tension relief.
- Acupuncture and Dry Needling
Acupuncture is one of the therapies we offer as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. It’s an effective way to encourage healing, reduce pain and improve function in the affected parts of the body. It’s safe, effective and commonly used instead of medications. It involves the insertion of very fine needles into the skin at specific points on the body – but there are no injections of any kind, and the needles themselves cause very little discomfort.
Dry needling uses the same kind of needles as acupuncture, but is a more active type of treatment used to achieve different goals. It usually involves needles inserted deeper into the tissue to stimulate tight muscles, which helps them relax and release. It’s a very effective complement to both physiotherapy and chiropractic treatments, and can help you reach your goals more quickly.
- Laser Therapy
Low Intensity Laser Therapy (LILT) has been the chosen method of treatment for thousands of people suffering from various conditions. This proven and effective treatment eliminates pain, improves tissue repair, reduces inflammation, restores mobility and helps people regain their quality of life. Laser therapy is the use of monochromatic light emission from low intensity laser diode or an array of high intensity super luminous diodes. It penetrates the tissue without generation of heat. Low Intensity Laser Therapy unlike High Intensity Laser used in surgery or hair removal doesn’t damage the tissue cells. Instead it stimulates healing at the cellular level by increasing biochemical energy that is needed by the cell to regenerate. Treatments take about 30-60 minutes and should be applied two or more times per week.
- Custom Orthotics
An orthotic is a medical device that helps to align the foot and ankle into the most efficient position, which can significantly improve or eliminate pain in the foot, ankle, knee, hip and back. They look like insoles, and they can be used in all different kinds of shoes – including dress shoes, sport-specific shoes and skates. With custom orthotics, the insoles are molded specifically to address your anatomy and your needs to reduce or eliminate pain during activities.
Dynamic Ottawa also offers off-the-shelf and custom braces as part of treatment plans for a variety of joint complaints. Braces can help you return to sport or other activities more quickly, although we also offer them as part of a treatment plan to address the underlying cause. Our off-the-shelf braces come in a variety of sizes, and we can work with you to fit a custom brace that addresses your unique needs.
- Dynamic Yoga Classes

This is why we have formed a partnership with our neighbor across the street, Tri-Mark Studio and now we can offer yoga to our patients! Our trusted personal trainer Lacey Thompson is currently running yoga classes for specific levels of fitness and injury. Check out the Tri-Mark Studio website to sign up for Men’s Yoga (Broga) or Beginner Yoga and stay tuned for more classes to come!
