Dr. Sarah Cohen



Dr. Cohen is a proud Ottawa native who received her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa before completing her doctorate in chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. She has spent over 10 years enhancing her clinical skills in manual, athletic and rehabilitative therapy. She has over 15 years experience in the health and fitness industry as a strength and conditioning specialist where she has worked with individuals with a non-sport background, as well as athletes at the varsity, national and professional levels.


Her clinical evaluation begins with a functional, structural neuromusculoskeletal and orthopaedic assessment. Her treatment consists of chiropractic manipulation of the spine and extremities, strengthening exercises, modalities, taping and soft tissue therapies such as myofascial release.

Training and Experience

Dr. Cohen is a co-founder and presenter of a certified Marathon Training Workshop. She has been a guest speaker at the Toronto and Whistler Can-Fit-Pro Conference, HSBC Triathlon Series Awards Ceremony, Running Room Clinics and for various sports teams and professional groups throughout Ottawa and Toronto. She has also led boot and run camps in Toronto and Ottawa, and will offer these programs to the Kanata community through Dynamic Physiotherapy and Chiropractic to help promote health and wellness.

As a part of her commitment to continuing education, Sarah Cohen has completed the following courses and certifications:

•   Functional Integrated Needling: Sport Injury Management

Personal Interests

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Cohen enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as participating in a variety of activities such as triathlons, competitive volleyball and she has won 5 national touch football championships. She can often be found jogging or biking along the Trans Canada Trail in Kanata.
