Rohit completed his bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy in Manchester, UK at Salford University after his undergraduate degree in Human Biology/Life Sciences at the University of Toronto. He completed his clinical placements within the National Health Service focusing on neurological rehabilitation.
Rohit’s treatment approach is hands-on with emphasis on manual handling while using education and exercise to help patients with pain reduction, return to sports/work, and improving activities of daily living.
As a part of her commitment to continuing education, Rohit has completed the following courses and certifications:
• “Core Stability” – Exercise and Motor Control for Low Back Pain;
• Kinesiology taping;
• AED training;
• CPR/Standard First Aid
While in England, Rohit joined a bhangra dance team (traditional folk Indian dancing from Northern India) where he competed in a competition called the “The Bhangra Showdown” (https://youtu.be/KlSHku8oJMU -male green dancer). In addition to dance/bhangra he plays sports competitively with focus on badminton, basketball and volleyball. Prior to joining the Dynamic team, he coached high school basketball and badminton in Sarnia helping the mixed doubles (badminton) pairing win the city tournament.
Rohit also volunteered his time and skills for the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto.
