Catherine Lagasse Holden
BScPT
Physiotherapist
Background and Treatment Approach
I was born and raised in a small town near Winnipeg, Manitoba. I moved to Ottawa to complete my Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and graduated in 2008. For more than 10 years I have worked in private practice and have volunteered as a team therapist for both a competitive soccer and ball hockey team. I have also performed workplace ergonomics assessments.
I love treating and helping everyone achieve their optimal function. This includes office workers, weekend warriors and athletes of any age to name a few. Sessions with me will be geared towards reaching your personal physiotherapy goals. These goals will be achieved with evidenced based treatments including hands on manual therapy techniques from joint mobilizations to soft tissue release, taping, and other modalities for pain. Empowering people and giving them the tools to help themselves such as a personalized home exercise program and education also hold important places in my practice.

Personal Interests
When I am not in the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my son, husband, our dog and our family and friends. We love getting outside and being active. In the summer, we go hiking, camping and swimming as much as possible. In the winter, we love playing in the snow!
