Chiropractor
My goal is to empower you through education and rehabilitation to take control of your health, decrease your pain and increase your motion. I practice using individualized, evidence-based care to meet your goals and preferences. I treat with a hands-on approach using a variety of skills. My treatments include chiropractic manipulations and mobilizations, myofascial release techniques, intra-oral techniques, acupuncture/dry needling, taping, instrument-assisted tools, rehabilitation exercises and education.
Since becoming a mother, I have developed a special interest in treating children. With my first baby, we struggled breastfeeding being diagnosed with tongue ties, colic, reflux and failure to thrive. This drove my passion to learn how to treat infant feeding issues. As my kids and community of families grows, I have become increasingly interested in treating other areas of developmental and motor milestones for children with varying motor and neurological delays.
I also enjoy and have experience in treating a wide range of patients including office workers and high level athletes.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology at the University of Ottawa. I then went on to complete my Doctorate of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.
As a part of my commitment to continuing education and to your care, I have completed the following courses and certifications:
When I am not in the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my two sons, husband, our dog and our family and friends. We love getting outside and being active. In the summer, we go hiking, camping and swimming as much as possible. In the winter, we love playing in the snow!
