“Each patient’s story is unique, and the most rewarding part of my practice is helping people regain confidence in their movement and return to the activities that are most meaningful to them.”
With over eight years of clinical experience, I have had the privilege of working with patients across orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and sports-related conditions. I earned my Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physiotherapy from Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria, where I was honoured with several academic distinctions, including the Faculty Prize for Best Overall Student in the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences and the Dr. B.O. Sangonuga Prize for Best Final-Year Student in Medical Rehabilitation.
Throughout my career, I have practiced in diverse clinical environments, gaining extensive experience in treating a broad spectrum of conditions and mentoring clinical students. In recognition of my dedication and performance, I received the Award of Service Excellence in 2023.
Committed to lifelong learning, I have pursued additional certifications, including the FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine and Physiotherapy Practice in the Canadian Healthcare System from the University of Alberta. Now practicing in Canada as a Physiotherapist Resident, I take a patient-centered approach that integrates manual therapy, exercise prescription, education, and injury prevention. My goal is not only to restore optimal function but also to empower each patient with the knowledge and confidence to take an active role in their long-term health and well-being.
As a part of my commitment to continuing education and to your care, I have completed the following courses and certification:
Outside the clinic, I enjoy staying active through fitness and sports, exploring new places, and spending quality time with family and friends. I am passionate about personal growth and continuous learning, and I also have a keen interest in community health and development initiatives.
