"The best part of my job is getting to be part of someone else’s healing process and sharing in all of the victories- big and small."
MScPT, BScHK
Physiotherapist
Having grown up enjoying participating in sports and activities, and understanding their effect on quality of life, I have always been keen to help others to achieve their goals through functional movement and activity. Wanting to combine my interests in movement and empowering others, I went on to complete my bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa, followed by a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. During my physical therapy training, I worked with various populations ranging from infants to older adults, with conditions spanning from cardiorespiratory to neurological to musculoskeletal in nature. In my final physical therapy placement, I completed 6 weeks at a paediatric clinic, where I found great fulfillment in helping babies and children return to what they do best-play! And while I enjoy working with a paediatric population, I continue to be excited to treat patients of all ages and walks of life.
As an empathetic therapist, my priority is to learn what matters most to you and to use evidenced-based education, customized exercises and hands-on therapy to help you achieve your own meaningful goals. I look forward to collaborating with you, and helping you get back to what matters most.
As a part of my commitment to continuing education and to your care, I have completed the following:
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy hiking, escape rooms and baking treats for my friends and family. I also enjoy running and am interested in martial arts-you may see me at a kick-boxing gym in the near future!
